Pressure Washer Pump Control Switch | Pressure Washer On Off Switch | Power Washer Pump Burner Switch
Some pressure washer manufacturers such as Alkota and Aaladin utilize a rotary cam switch for pressure washer controls. A rotary cam switch consists of a spindle or 'rotor' that has an array of terminals arranged around the rotor. These terminals allow for electrical connections to be connected and controlled by the cam switch. In hot water pressure washers, this type of on off control switch is useful in that one switch can be used to turn the power washer pump on and off, as well as to turn the burner system on and off. Many power washer manufacturers utilize
rocker switches in place of rotary cam switches for pump and burner controls.
Rotary cam switches are available in a
two-position switch or a three-position switch. A 2-position switch will have two options: Off and Pump, whereas a 3-position switch will have three control options: Off, Pump and Burner. Rotary cam switches are available in 110 volt and 230 volt, either 1 phase or 3 phase. Our cam switch replacement knob can be used on a large variety of rotary cam switches, and may be all that is needed to repair your pressure washer.
