Diesel Burner Blower Wheel | Squirrel Cage | Burner Fan
On a diesel fired hot water pressure washer, a burner motor is mounted to the burner assembly. This burner motor rotates at a high RPM, and is connected to a flex coupling, which turns both the
fuel pump and the diesel burner blower fan, or blower wheel. This blower wheel, commonly called a squirrel cage consists of small vanes that rotate and suck air through the housing assembly, into the air tube on the front of the power washer burner, where the oil burner fuel nozzle and ignition electrodes are mounted. This creates the appropriate fuel-to-air ratio necessary for proper ignition of the diesel fuel within the pressure washer combustion chamber.
Diesel burner blower wheels are sized specifically for the burner assembly required in each hot water pressure washer. If you are uncertain as to which squirrel cage you require,
contact us with the make, model and serial number of your pressure washer, or the dimensions of your current blower wheel and we can assist in finding the correct part necessary to get your pressure washer repaired fast!
