Hotsy Exhaust Stack Insulation | Hotsy Coil Top Hat Insulation
Hotsy hot water pressure washer heating coils sit within a combustion chamber, where a flame created by the power washer burner components, such as fuel pumps, electronic igniters and burner fuel nozzles, heats the high pressure water. The exhaust created by this flame is ported out of the exhaust stack, or top hat of the pressure washer. This exhaust stack is insulated with a thick layer of fiberglass insulation, to contain the heat within the burn chamber, as well as to protect the pressure washer user from high temperatures.
When replacing a heating coil, or with general maintenance repairs, we recommend replacement of all three Hotsy heating coil insulations: the exhaust stack insulation, the blanket or wrap insulation, and the bottom or pancake insulation. Please consult your owner's manual for part numbers, or feel free to contact us with the model and serial number of your Hotsy pressure washer and we would be happy to assist you!
